Language Abilities of the Southwest Economic Region Population

In addition to a core population of English speakers, the Southwest Economic Region has significant numbers of residents who can conduct a conversation in French, German, Ukrainian, Spanish, Ojibway, Siouan languages, Polish, and a variety of other non-official languages. In addition to those languages specified below, a variety of other non-official languages were reported by smaller numbers of people in the economic region.
