Average Hourly Earnings

Salaries and wages often constitute the major expenditure of an enterprise. The Province of Manitoba is very competitive in average hourly earnings by employees, ranking eighth out of ten in average hourly wages in manufacturing and eighth in industrial aggregate hourly wage. Employees may earn less than their counterparts elsewhere, but still have a higher standard of living.

Manitoba’s minimum wage is $9.00 per hour as of October 1, 2009.
